# How To Create a Static Mask

Here's how you create a static mask:

* Take a screenshot of the LIV output window (use keys: alt + print screen to take a screenshot of your    play space.)
* Paste the screenshot you just took of the LIV output window into your image editing app
* Color the area you want to hide (mask) black
* Color your green-screened area white
* Save the file as .png

  Import your static mask into LIV. Now, only the area covered in white in the static mask should be shown in your LIV output.
