# Why is LIV not displaying my chat when using iRacing/OpenXR?

Streamerkit requires the game be run in OpenVR mode because OpenXR mode doesn't have a built in overlay system.

In iRacing select "**SELECT DISPLAY MODE**" -> **OpenVR**
