Common questions for LIV Hub

Is YouTube Live Stream Shorts supported?

With LIV Camera enabled games, change to portrait mode (Flip Aspect Ratio) before starting the stream to go live as shorts.

YouTube Shorts is not supported with the Headset streaming option.

Are text overlays supported?

Adding text overlays (like room code or subscriber count) is not yet supported with LIV Hub or LIV Camera.

Can I sign out of LIV Hub?

It’s not yet possible to sign out of LIV Hub.

If you need to disconnect your socials from LIV Hub, you can do so in the Connect Socials section.

Is LIV Hub available in other languages?

No, LIV Hub is only available in English.

Why did I get a Subscription termination email?

LIV Camera streaming is now free, as of Dec 18, 2025. Read more here.

For some individuals, in order to prevent billing we’ve revoked the subscription. You were on a free trial, your credit card would not have been charged.

Can I have multiple YouTube or Twitch connections?

No, there’s currently no way to have multiple Twitch or YouTube connections via the built in connections. You can however have multiple manual connections as a workaround. Create a manual RTMP connection for each YouTube or Twitch connection you’d like to have.

Can I stream to Discord with LIV?

No, there currently isn’t a way for LIV Camera or LIV Hub to stream to Discord

What are the stream settings used?

LIV Camera Streaming settings

The stream settings used are changed with the in game camera HD or SD setting. A developer may change the camera settings but here are the defaults.

HD Settings

Sample rate: 48,000

Audio Bitrate: 192,000

Bitrate: 4.5mb

Frame rate: 60fps

Resolution: 1080x1920

SD Settings

Sample rate: 48,000

Audio Bitrate: 192,000

Bitrate: 2.5mb

Frame rate: 30fps

Resolution: 720x1080

Headset Streaming settings

Sample rate: 48,000

Audio Bitrate: 96,000

Bitrate: 4,500,000

Frame rate: 30fps

Resolution: 1920x1080.

Can I mulit-stream? Stream to multiple platforms at once?

LIV Hub does not directly support multi-streaming.

You can manually connect via RTMP to any other service that does support multi-stream such as Restream.

Is Kick supported?

No, Kick connections are not supported.
