- Ensure you’ve granted permission for LIV Hub to have access to your YouTube account when you connected. If you didn’t, you may have to disconnect and start again. If needed, you can reset your LIV Hub and YouTube account link at https://myaccount.google.com/connections

YouTube Streaming Error messages
Permanent Errors
These require the user to disconnect and reconnect their YouTube account.| Error State | What Causes It | User Fix |

| Token expired or revoked | The YouTube OAuth token has expired or you revoked LIV’s access from their Google account settings | Reconnect YouTube account in LIV settings |
| Permissions denied | You declined one or more permission scopes during YouTube sign in | Disconnect and reconnect, accepting all requested permissions |
| Organization policy block | Your Google Workspace/org admin has restricted third-party app access. Can happen with School or Work Google accounts. | Use a different Google account that isn’t blocking YouTube streaming. Contact your Google Workspace administrator to whitelist LIV. |
| Live streaming not enabled | YouTube account doesn’t have live streaming activated | Go to YouTube Studio and enable live streaming. YouTube makes newly enabled accounts wait 24 hours before streaming. |
| Missing channel permissions | Account lacks a YouTube channel, or the channel doesn’t have live streaming rights | Ensure you have a YouTube channel created and live streaming enabled |

Temporary Errors
These are temporary. You should wait and retry, or reconnect if they persist.| Error State | What Causes It | User Fix |

| Rate limit | Too many requests sent to YouTube’s API in a short window. LIV is working with YouTube to increase their quota. | Wait a few minutes and try again |
| Network timeout | Connection to YouTube dropped mid-request | Check internet connection, retry |
| Internal server error | YouTube’s servers returned a 500-level error. YouTube might be offline. | Wait and retry; check YouTube Status if persistent |

| Streaming link not valid | The stream link provided failed validation | Verify the link and re-enter |
