  1. Launch SteamVR, if you are using a Quest, connect to SteamVR. How to use your Quest with LIV.
  2. Launch LIV, If you are using a Quest launch it from your desktop or Steam library 
  3. Sign in or Continue as guest
  4. Install the LIV’s SteamVR driver (Will need to restart SteamVR after installing the driver)
  5. Select Virtual Cameras & Avatars
  6. Select Start VR Cameras & Avatars
  7. Create your avatar camera profile (select Camera, resolution, and name the profile)
  • Select Camera
  • Click the green camera with + on it to add a camera profile
  • In the Type drop down menu select Avatar
  1. Save your avatar profile after giving it a name
  2. How to enter the LIV Avatar Interface
  3. Select the avatar camera mode you wish to use, you can switch it up at any time.
  4. Avatar Configuration, calibration etc.
  5. Start capturing: Click on Capture, select a supported game in the drop down menu to the right, select the resolution you want LIV to render in
  6. Click Sync & Launch to sync the game with the LIV compositor
